The Henderson Bequest* intends to amend its objects to the objects of the National Benevolent Charity**
*Henderson Bequest
“The objects of the charity are to provide accommodation or to provide grants or other financial assistance for the relief of members or former members of the nursing profession who are in need, hardship or distress, or, insofar as the Charity is not able to provide relief to such people, to members or former members of professions allied to medicine or the care sector ** National Benevolent Charity “ The object of the National Benevolent Charity shall be the relief of qualifying persons who are in need of assistance by reason of old age, infirmity sickness or economic circumstances”.
